At last we've made it. Ann got out of the helicopter and stood on Muckle Flugga for the photograph.

What's going down:  Well, we had hoped to be flying this morning, so we have arrived at the Marine Operations department, but unfortunately the helicopter is not going until this afternoon. Don't want to miss the flight back to Aberdeen, so we aren't sure what to do....

What's going down:  Just a thought. If you want to see what Muckle Flugga looks like, go to www.valhallabrewery.co.uk and look at the picture in the background when you've entered the sight. That Lighthouse is apparently Muckle Flugga, and although it looks like the rock is attatched to the mainland, it's not.
That's where we hope to land tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

What's going down:  Had to walk for thee quarters of a mile to phone 'Er indoors and Ann's Old Man tonight, so we're stood at the top of some steps in full force of the wind.
Arrived at the Valleyfield guest house, earlier, to find it very quiet. There was a note on the desk which read 'Dartmoor, rooms 2 and 10', so we guess they're ours!
Now we're off to find some food, before we get our heads down for the night.

What's going down:  When we got to the next ferry, we met the Skipper who was about to finish his shift, so we've had a lift all the way to Brae.

What's going down:  On our way back down through the Shetlands now, having stopped for a drink at Valhalla Brewery, the most Northerly Brewery in the Bristish Isles.

We are just about to get off the Unst/Yell Ferry, which very kindly gave us a free ride. One of their operators is finishing his shift and has offered us a ride further.

What's going down:  A Huge Thank You to Peter Gear, to Bruce Kincaid and to Alison Williamson, who between them got us all the way accross Yell and up to the very north of Unst. We've been to see 'SKAW' the most Northerly house in the British Isles.
Tamara Clark from Skibhoul Store in Haroldswick is very kindly driving us around to try and find the Public Toilet we are aiming for. It must be round here somewhere.
We can see Muckle Flugga, but we can't get to it yet. Crossing our fingers that the Pollution monitering helicopter will be flying tomorrow, and that we'll be on it!

What's going down:  Thanks to Sarah McBurney (Homeopath and Tour Guide) we have been offered a ride by a man called Peter, who was having breakfast in the same cafe (that'll teach him to talk to strangers!) We are on the look out for a red Van..
The sun is shining, the wind is blowing, the ferry is making good time and the people are wonderfull. There is no way they will ever take us back to Dartmoor Prison!

What's going down:  So much for getting out heads down early last night. Decided to hit the pubs with the swag bags instead. Made quite a killing, and still stayed sober....
Up early this morning and back on the train. Timing is good, but the noisy kids on this train make us wish we were back inside - in solitary!

Met a Lady at the station who told us her daughter did a Jailbreak ten years ago. We're in good company!
Not too happy with losing every game of cards, but the journey is going smoothly...

What's going down:  What great news... Flightline (www.flightline.ltd.uk)have offered to take us out to The Shetland Isles on one of their BAe 146 jet aircraft from Aberdeen Airport and to fly us back when we have been to Muckle Flugga.

We have also now been offered a lift out to the Airport on Monday morning.

The journey from Plymouth to Aberdeen is now booked, but we have to stop from Midnight till breakfast in Edinburgh.

Now we need somewhere near the Railway station to get our heads down for a few hours....
