Dartmoor Jailbreak

We (Nigel and Ann) are breaking out of Her Majesty's Prison Dartmoor on Saturday 20th April 2002 and going on the run...... Having established that crime does not pay we aim to raise as much money as we can for charity. YOU CAN HELP by supporting us every inch of the way and by giving as much as you can to our two very worthwhile charities.
The rules are easy...... we can run for up to 4 days dressed as convicts or something similar and see how far we can get. We cannot directly pay for any transport. All money raised will be shared equally between Vranch House (a charity looking after children with cerebral palsy) and the National Association for Colitis and Crohn's disease, or NACC (a patient organisation for those with Inflammatory Bowel Disease). Just to add that little extra the police know about the breakout and will arrest escapees on sight.
We hope to get as far away as is possible
from Dartmoor within the United Kingdom and to stand on a rock off the very northern tip
of the Shetland Isles known as Muckle Flugga. The fallback position
is to use the most northerly public toilet in the UK. This site will be updated during our time on
the run to show our progress and will be finished off after the event to
include pictures of our time on the run.
Television and media will almost certainly be there..... they always have been in the past. Do your bit for charity and give as much as you can.
